Tonight's harvest: gallon-sized bags of Toscano Kale, Red Russian Kale, & Arugula/Rainbow Chard, 3 yellow squash, 3 purple beans, 4 Sun Gold tomatoes & around 30 Padron Peppers. Pretty impressive, given that we picked the plants clean on July 4th!
20 days worth of growth? Not bad!
Dang, how big is your garden?? This is an awesome haul.
ReplyDelete9 feet by 6 feet :) We are lucky.
ReplyDeleteWow! That is impressive!
ReplyDeleteI've got an awesome squash recipe for you, if you want it.
ReplyDeleteYes, please!
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you! :) It's amazing what 19 days can do!

ReplyDeletethat's awesome, how did you do that??..any tips or green thumbs !! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm frustrated by a mole problem. They've destroyed my potatoes! I am envious of your results!
ReplyDeleteI think we are just lucky. My gardening plan is "plan a bunch of stuff and see what happens" :) we do have a sprinkler system that waters it every morning, which I think helps.
ReplyDeleteOh no! We don't have moles out here (not that I know of anyway). What can you do about them? Do those underground electric current things work? I think we're going to try potatoes next year, but we know nothing about planting/growing them. Any tips?
ReplyDeleteLooks delicious.
ReplyDeleteIt was. We ate it all last night!
ReplyDeleteI've tried the electronic pulsing devices, but it didn't save the potatoes. Maybe someone else has a suggestion. I would prefer something "green" if possible.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I am no expert in the ways of potatoes and moles, but hopefully someone can chime in and help!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I
