Fast forward to 2012, several jobs (for me) later...and Mark is making his directorial debut. He's always been a fantastic animator, and you know, supervising animator, and tiki-room-office decorator, and I am so proud and excited for him and Partysaurus Rex. And PS - he just crossed over to the Twitter dark side.

Way to go, Mark. Thanks for giving me some insight into the animation world when I was at Pixar, and for taking me out when I got laid off. And for being a cool dude. Much love.
God they make those characters so adorable... I can't not smile when they're all bouncing around in the tub it is just too cute!

ReplyDeleteThis is awesome. I have always loved animation. I think it would be so cool to write songs for an animated movie or tv show someday. There's so much freedom with where you could go and what you could do. Anyway, love the experiences you get to have. :)
ReplyDeleteTotally - that's one of the things that's so cool about animation, I think. No "real world" constraints...anything is possible. Hopes and dreams and magic and all that :)
