Living Plants!

Hooray! I looked at my little basil plant, and despite our having picked it dry and it looking like it might never bear leaves again, this is what I saw when I looked out my kitchen window when I came home from work today. I know you're supposed to pinch or cut the little blossoms before they flower, but I didn't see this one, and it sorta snuck up on me! Don't worry - I pinched it off, and got all the other ones too, but it was really a lovely little surprise and I just had to photograph it! Looks like my basil is happy and ready to keep me happy for a while as well!

The oregano looks ok too, and while the lemon verbena is mostly brown, there are some green bits, so I'm going to hold out hope for another week or so to see how it does.
